Eldorado provides an entertaining way to discover whether you have a winning ticket. How you play has no impact on your odds of winning.
To play a round, simply unscramble the letters in each of seven words and solve the riddle.
Once you've read the riddle, click anywhere to begin. The letters of the first word you have to unscramble will appear, along with a series of letter stands. To find the word, slide the letters from stand to stand and place them in the correct order. Each time you find a word, you can re-read the riddle. Click anywhere to continue.
Each word you uncover sets the central stone wheel in motion, makes one of its rings turn and frees a rush of molten lava. Slowly but surely, as the rings turn, the grooves in the central wheel align themselves with those in the subsequent rings to form paths.
At the end of the round, the lava flow will follow the only uninterrupted path, revealing the outcome of the game.
You can win only one prize per round.
There are three ways to move a letter:
- Click the letter to move it to the next available letter stand.
- Drag and drop a letter onto a letter stand.
- Use the keys on your keyboard.
You can use the arrows located on either side of the steps to move to the next
word or to return to the previous one. You can move freely between words, even
once you've started unscrambling the letters of the word in progress.

You can also use your keyboard's Page Up key, or the Left and Up arrow keys, to return to the previous word, or the Page Down key, or the Right and Down arrow keys, to move to the next word.

By clicking the "Hint" button, all the letters placed in the wrong location will be moved back to the centre step, and one additional letter will be chosen at random and placed in the correct location. The letters you have placed correctly will not be touched. You may request as many hints as you like, without being penalized. You may also use the "Hint" function by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard.
Once you have uncovered all seven words and found the solution to the riddle, the last ring in the central wheel will be set in motion and will come to a stop opposite either a prize reference or an empty space. If the path created by the grooves leads to a prize, you win that prize, once a Loto-Québec retailer can ascertain, by means of the verification number, that your ticket does in fact entitle you to the prize being claimed.
